The Real Food Media Contest has announced ten finalists for its People’s Choice Award. The films are available here, and may be viewed free-of-charge. After viewing each film, vote for your favorite (the deadline for casting a vote is February 27th).

These are short films with big ideas about sustainability and farming. Here’s what the organization’s website says about the contest:

“The Contest is the project of the Real Food Media Project, a collaborative initiative using online movies and a web-based action center along with grassroots events around the country to spread the stories of sustainable food and farming.”

The films cover a variety of topics, including oysters, coffee, labor, snail farming, etc. Host a screening party at your home, or with a community-based group.
