Food Tank is a non-profit organization focused on “building a global community for safe, healthy, nourished eaters. We spotlight environmentally, socially, and economically sustainable ways of alleviating hunger, obesity, and poverty and create networks of people, organizations, and content to push for food system change.”

Food Tank, in partnership with George Washington (GW) University, is hosting its first annual summit on January 21st-22nd in Washington, DC. The two-day event features more than 75 speakers representing the diversity of work and perspectives in food and agriculture. Topics include food waste, urban agriculture, family farmers, farm workers, and more.
