The Hershey Company has announced that it will start using “simpler ingredients” in its chocolate, as well as using locally sourced milk. The company becomes the latest chocolate maker to make changes in response to concerns from consumers.

The decision from Hershey’s follows on the heels of Nestle’s announcement that it would remove artificial flavors and some FDA-certified food coloring from all of the company’s chocolate candy by the end of this year.
